This is a heartbreaking sale for us as our advancing age and having to reduce our horse numbers is sadly a reality we’ve had to address. This mare has never had an unsound day in her life. She was bred and trained by us so she’s never had a tough life. She has well established flying lead changes, stops, spins, rollbacks and amazing upward and downward transitions required for ranch events. She is easy to shoe, float, drench, needle, clip, tie, lunge etc. She is a proven successful ranch horse in all ranch events (excluding cattle) and has won many AQHA and RHAA Conformation classes. She has won and placed at National level in Youth and Open Dressage and Hunter classes and would also suit Western Dressage and/or Cowboy Dressage disciplines. She has never bucked, bolted or been bad mannered and I have used her as a schoolmaster for riders needing the feel of a finished bridle horse. Over the past 2 years we leased Christie to a very talented young youth rider who has shown her to great success many times.
